Tournament Rules

The following are rules, chip color counts, and more for the way the game was played
at the American Legion in North St. Paul prior to the game's current format provided by The Straight Flush Poker Tour.

FREE TEXAS HOLD'EM TOURNAMENT RULES
At American Legion Post 39 in North St. Paul, MN
Thursday at 7:00 pm - Sharp!

Must be 21 years of age or older to play.
Must arrive prior to the first blind increase to enter tournament.
Must have been in the main tournament to play in Consolation Game, first 8 to sign up.

Players must post both a big blind and a small blind position.
When knock-outs occur, the deal is to be held to ensure that blinds are not missed.
           
Dealer is established by high card draw.
Tables with less than 4 players should alert the host and hold the deal until additional
players arrive.
Players to the right of the dealer may be asked to move when necessary to allow play
at another table.
Tables that receive 3 or more new players prior to the next deal must re-establish dealer.
Players may not join a table as the dealer or the small blind. Players may join as the big
blind if desired, or they can opt to sit out until the deal passes.
Don't Cheat! Immediate forfeiture of chips as well as being banned from entry in
future tournaments will apply.
