Established February 13, 2014

The Riders are active in supporting our community and raising funds for the Hasting's Veterans Home, Vets Camp on Big Marine Lake, Legionville, Legacy Foundation Scholarships and many other fun and rewarding activities to support our veterans. The Riders raise funds from Poppy donations in the month of May and the Fall Raffle ticket sales in August through November. The Riders themselves also purchase Christmas gifts for Veterans as part of the "Adopt-A-Vet" Program for the Hastings Veterans Home each year.

The Riders volunteer their time at several Post and Community events. These events include Breakfast/Lunch Rides to 4th District Legions including Forest Lake, Hastings, Somerset and St. Paul Park. The Riders participate in Grave Site Flag placements and removal at Lakeview and Evergreen Cemeteries, Flag Retirement at the Vets Camp on Big Marine Lake, Vet Fest at Walton Park, Car Show at North St. Paul Legion, Christmas in July Motorcycle Ride at North Branch Legion, Brat 'N Corn Feed at North St. Paul Legion, MN ALR Legacy Run, POW/MIA Candlelight Remembrance Walk In North St. Paul, Pancake Breakfast at Newport Masonic Center, Booya at Arcade-Phalen Legion and Pearl Harbor Pancake Breakfast at North St. Paul Legion.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be a member of the North St. Paul American Legion Riders, applicants must be a current member of one of the Legion Family (American Legion, Auxiliary or Sons of the American Legion). A member must own a motorcycle at least 350cc's, have a valid motorcycle driver's license endorsement, and carry proper insurance for that motorcycle. A member could also be the spouse, significant other or live in partner of an eligible member to qualify for full membership. Meetings:

Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month at the North St. Paul Legion at 5:30 PM. The annual membership dues are $15. There are 36 active members and the Riders would welcome you as a new member.
